Poplar Tire and Auto Repair

i used to use Southern Tire for all my tire needs because they were close to work. When they closed I defaulted to a national tire chain and it was horrific. I finally ended up stopping in at Poplar Tire and Auto and I’m happy I did. Twice now the friendly dude with a great smile has fixed me up with some tire repairs in a flash. I couldn’t recommend another tire shop as long as this place is in business.

We picked up a piece of metal in our tire on our way to LTL. They didn’t have the tire we needed day of, but ordered us a brand new one for the next day. Sam was very nice and helpful doing a great job putting a new tire on and checking the rest of our tires air pressure to make sure we were good to go.

These guys won't steer you wrong. They are very fair and kind people. I have visited many tire spots and these blokes are the best and friendliest.

I highly recommend this shop! They replaced two high-quality used tires and balanced them in just 30 minutes, all for only $110. This is my second time using their service, and I'm very satisfied with their efficiency and value.

Had a flat tire few days ago on a Holiday weekend. Roadside Assistance came out and installed the dreaded donut tire. I had to wait couple more days to find tires and then the tire I needed was out of stock locally everywhere, no joy! Finally, I was able to get a set ordered with a 5-7 business days delivery time and that wasn’t a guarantee. On day 4 of donut tire hell, multiple dashboard lights, tired of going 35 mph, avoiding interstates, worrying the temp tire would fail me and with no new tires in sight for days to come….. I decided to check some of the local tire shops for a used 275/45R21 tire. Not a common tire size, so not an easy one to find used either.
