I had my rear brake pads and new rotors installed here yesterday, and the experience was excellent. Jach was incredibly helpful and managed to get everything done the same day. The prices felt fair, and I really appreciated that there was no attempt to upsell me on anything unnecessary. I definitely recommend this place for all your brake needs in Poway.

I have searched for an honest mechanic for over 20 years since leaving the Midwest. Well he finally appeared and is currently Mgr. of Poway Muffler and Brake. Mark runs this shop with top-notch service, integrity and honesty. You won't be told to fix a bunch of things; simply this is what I recommend to keep you safe. I put on many miles working as a travel employee to Emergency Departments in San Diego. He has kept his promise of keeping me safe in my work travels during the Pandemic. I highly recommend Mark and his team. They are experienced, professional and personable. It feels like a 'shop from home in the Midwest'.

First went in nearly 20 years ago and was overwhelmed by the no-upsell, honest and fair treatment I always received. My cars are all short term leases now, so I never need service, but I had to chance to reconnect when a friend and employee needed service. Fast forward two owners to the current manager: Mark. Same amazing service, and great work. This is the place that instead of recommending you spend more money to do this or that, when you pick up your car they say "we noticed your xxx needed replacement and did it on the house". Yep, no annoying change your cabin air filter, or your brake fluid calls needs to be replaced calls from this place!
