Easily the BEST automotive repair shop I’ve ever dealt with AND they have a student discount. I have a 1999 Mazda Miata and I’ve taken it to them 4-5 separate times now for old aging car things. Brian and Travis are the most honest and knowledgeable people I’ve met in the car business. I’ve had a full front main seal rebuild that has been flawless, major exhaust work done by them also flawless, the annoying knock sensor replaced (if you own an older miata you know or are soon about to find out), and other small maintenance repairs done by them over the past year; always fair pricing and a great timeframe for the work to be done. Safe to say my daily driver miata is still on the road because of these guys.

Attention parents who live afar with college students in Tally who are desperate to find a honest and trustworthy mechanic: This place doesn’t deserve 5 stars, there should be an option for extra credit. 10/5!! Shop owners went above and beyond with one of my most valued gifts; my daughter. Took her car in for issues that we’ve been chasing for almost a year (at a different shop). I initially tried to give them a detailed description of all that has been done and luckily they asked to look at it with a ‘fresh pair of eyes’. Much to my surprise, given the thousands of dollars I’ve already poured into this car, they FIXED it! Diagnostic took longer than the fix. When people do business right, it really shows. Makes me wonder why all auto shops can't be like this. Powerhouse staff were friendly, responsive, honest, and very competent. They diagnosed the problems and explained it in a way I could understand. Travis and Emily turned a headache into a breeze. Great example of how it pays to be nice. And they completed the jobs very quickly. If I was a welder or a mechanic, I would want to join this team. Best service I've ever had at an auto shop. Swung in to get an estimate to install a Flowmaster on my truck on my lunch break. I met Brian, the technician/owner when I arrived and he was just starting to eat lunch and he didn't miss a beat and came out to look at my truck. He had the muffler in stock and got started on it right away even though I was a walk in. Got it done super fast and the install came out looking great. I am a service manager at a local dealer and was pleasantly surprised with the level of service I received from him and Powerhouse. It's nice to see an aftermarket shop doing it right locally.

5-Star, definitely would recommend! My car (Chevy Malibu) was experiencing a very bad fuel leak. I had it towed to a shop that supposedly couldn’t identify/fix the issue but just told me it was something with the fuel injectors.
