Dealing with Jack at Precision Auto Repair in Jacksboro has been a nightmare. The first time I brought my car in for repair it took longer than he said. When he was finished with it he said $200. for spark plugs and coil. I had already talked to the "mechanic who said he didnt put a coil on it but it was still $200. according to Jack. I paid him and left. I drove a block and noticed it was doing the exact same thing. I took it back. He handed a $100. Cash back to me. After the mechanic drove it and agreed it was doing the same the same thing. The mechanic finally scanned it and said it was the catalytic converter. Jack called for parts quoted $125. For the part 75. for labor. I handed the money back and said just put it toward the repair and I will pay the rest when I come in. After speak

On a road trip we broke down and Jack saved the entire trip! Not only did he do a great job with great prices he also went out of the way to drive me, my boyfriend, and my dog back and forth from our hotel ! Not to mention all of this was on new years when he could have been anywhere else he decided to help 2 strangers! Thank you so much Jack and other employees!!

This place is amazing. Was driving to our cabin when my water pump blew on Monday, gave them the keys to the car at 8am Tuesday and they had me on the road by 2. Great communication, a phenomenal price and quality men running the place. It’s hard to find good people, especially mechanics, and these guys make me wish I lived in Tennessee.

Rip off! $1,900 to repair a turbo, had my car 3 weeks and still not fixed. I brought my car back and they kept it almost 2 weeks! They didn't put my car back together right, used cheap off brand parts that failed, lost a special bracket for the turbo, lost bolts etc... 🤬 Do not trust "Jack" or their mechanic to do anything to your vehicle other than destroy it! I had to take my car to another mechanic and it cost me $3,500 to fix what Precision auto screwed up!

I was recently visiting family in Jacksboro. While en route my check engine light came on. When I got there, I went to advance and they diagnosed it as being the camshaft position sensor going out. My sister suggested that I take it to Jack’s place. They were able to get me up and running very quickly. They were very honest with me. A camshaft position sensor had not gone out, but only needed cleaning. The only thing wrong with my car was, that it needed an oil change. They only charged me for the oil change. I would have been the wiser, had they lied to me and said that they had to replace that sensor as well. Thank you, Jack, for running an honest business!
