Where to begin! Our Acura MDX (YD3) recently overheated (leaking coolant) and had the Check Engine light come on for multiple codes at the beginning of January 2026... We purchased the car a few years ago, used from a private party. The Timing belt and Water pump had just been replaced before we bought it a few years ago, so we thought we were in the clear for that service for at least another 5 years. No such luck - we have observed coolant leaking out of the car for a few weeks, and had to keep refilling the reservoir. Be brought MDX into Precision to help us find the source of the leak - it turned out that the "new-ish" water pump was to blame. I previously went to a Honda Dealership to have my car serviced. The Honda Dealership had my car for several days, ordered the wrong part, and my car still had issues. I’m thankful to have found Precision Import Repair. They were able to find me right in and find the exact part needed for my 2013 Honda Fit. I will definitely be going back to Precision Import Repair!

This shop is probably a good fit for many vehicles and was efficient and well organized. However, for Volkswagen-specific engine issues, the level of expertise and diagnostic capabilities were not sufficient to provide a clear recommendation, and I was asked to choose between possible repairs rather than being guided by a definitive assessment. VW owners with more complex concerns may be better served by a dedicated specialist. I wish the team at Precision the very best.

Best automotive shop I have ever seen. Big repair done on my baby (2014 Tundra) Drove 500 miles and had them re-inspect. All good and I am a happy camper. Thanks again.

I have used Precision Import Repair Inc. in the past so I am somewhat familiar with them as a business. I find that they are very knowledgeable, thorough and reasonable in their repairs and evaulation of a vehicle's problems. They are also very transparent regarding necessary repairs and the whole process.
