Precision Transmission

This review is long overdue. I had a transmission issue with my twenty sixteen suburban. I took it in there, set up a repair rebuild with the bigger torque converter. I am so happy and I believe in my heart that the way I take care of my truck three hundred thousand miles is the journey. I'm confident on the transmission job they did. Thank you precision. Tommy D

Finding this place saved me thousands. A shop I go to typically (Mongos) recommended this transmission shop. I had a couple transmission codes detected from diagnostic at Holman Ford and they were ready to charge over $6,000 to replace both actuators and TCM. Precision detected the EXACT two transmission codes and determined that I only needed a new clutch actuator motor. It is harder every day to find a honest shop. I highly recommend their service!

I recently sent my truck over to have a new transmission put in. With speaking with Hannah at the front desk and then Steve when it was completed, I couldn’t be more happy. They understand as a business owner with an upcoming storm. I had an extreme tight deadline for the truck to be ready. Not only did they complete it when they said it was going to be done. It was done with quality. There was even a hiccup with something that was out of their control and it was still wanting to make sure it was 100%. They have done work on 7 of my friends trucks or cars and one high horsepower build. They are the best.

Horrible experience. I brought them my mustang to get the trans rebuilt with an aftermarket torque converter and shift kit (they sourced the shift kit I was never told what brand they used.) It took about 3 months of me contacting front desk for updates, which my calls often got ignored an my car spent most of its time just sitting. Once I did get the car back $3600 later Im having issues with it stalling, would occasionally die out, shift surge happened often. Car was a mess and has never been the same since. They offered no warranty due to the torque converter I sourced. And the trans later completely died, I had to tow it and have it rebuilt again. Their excuse? They used the “wrong shift kit” in my trans. Dont know how that happens but sure at least its rebuilt. Again. They said I nee
