Preferred Emergency Towing & Recovery

I don’t know why the reviews are negative. The price was relatively accurate, they showed up quickly and the driver was nice and did a great jobs securing my truck and getting us to our mechanic. Will definitely be using them again if I need a tow.

Awful experience. Got charged 6 labor hours for the driver to go around and get parts for a PM. Preventative maintenance. Something to be planned out and they charged me as if it was an emergency and charged for every minute the guy spent shopping for parts. 6 hours to do 3 oil changes, $3000. Stay away from this guy. UPDATE: the PMs were done onsite at our customers location. An oil pan was not used or they actually followed through on the owners threat to drain all the oil. Our drivers started work this morning and one truck had a new check engine light on and the other two trucks they serviced had no oil in them and were low on coolant and trans fluid. Between Charles(tow trucker)and dispatch on one of the coldest days of the new year…my big work Stake truck broke down and needed help.They updated me with calls so I found myself not wondering ,communication was on 💯 and service was excellent. Tow driver was great but company is very suss. Was quoted a hookup price and miles driven cost. Was not told there was a fuel charge, was over charged for amount of miles driven to shop we used and the bill went from 165 or so to over 300. I could have easily saved 100 dollars going with a different tow truck company.

I asked multiple times on the phone what I would expect to pay once it was all said and done. I was under 3 miles from home. They said $125 and additional 3$/per mile. Once they got my car back to my driveway, I got an invoice stating I owed $351. Once I said something, they acted like they were doing me a favor by dropping it to $273. They charged me 37 miles totaling $111. AND the additional 4 miles to get my car to my house. Which was under 4 miles. I was less than 5 minutes away. It is incredibly frustrating because at that point, they have your car hooked up and won't give it back until you pay. It is a complete SCAM and they don't care. DO NOT CALL THEM FOR A TOW. Unless you don't mind paying a crazy amount of money and don't mind being lied to and misquoted. They knew I was in a pin
