Primrose Retirement Community of Sedalia

I called here to ask if any of the residents would be interested in having me as a pen pal. The woman I spoke to was very short with me and acted very weirded out, replying, "Well, this isn't a nursing home.".....Nursing home, assisted living, retirement community - she knew exactly what I was getting at. People are notoriously unhappy at these kind of places, and it 90% of the time is due to management, who I'm pretty sure is who I spoke to when I called. We need to all remember that one day we may end up in a place like this. If I was living in a similar place, I would love to receive a card! Oh well I guess.

Primrose is a nice senior community that is well maintained. It is convenient to medical facilities, shopping, etc. They offer a varied array of activities for the independent community as well as the assisted community. Some activities are exercise, bus outings, music performances, bible study, video's shown for enrichment on a variety of topics, board games, paint & craft activities. The staff is friendly and always willing to help the residents. My mom has lived here for a year and has made some great friends. It is nice to know that she is happy and in a safe environment.

I love my staff and residents! The staff are hard working and dedicated. We have a lot of staff with longevity . Our residents become like family. Also, we all can't wait to see how our remodel is going to look and how it will enhance our residents lives,.That way they can live the Primrose motto of : This is living!

My grandfather has lived at Primrose Sedalia for the last 3 years. After the loss of our grandmother, it was very important to find a community that offers the luxuries of retirement. The staff are amazing!! They provide many activities that keeps everyone busy and socializing. We are grateful for the love and care they provide. A BIG thanks to Primrose Sedalia!! 😊

My father has lived in this senior community for several years. My late mother lived there as well prior to her passing. I live across the country and I have always put my trust in Primrose. They provide excellent care for their residents and my father and I couldn’t be happier.
