Prince George's Towing

Towed my car when they should not have (not the reason for my bad review, that is my HOA’s fault). Damaged my car when they towed it (not the reason for my bad review, they took the blame with minimal fuss). After they took the blame for damaging my car, they made it almost impossible to get it fixed. They made me work around their schedule, even though it was their fault my car was damaged to begin with. Then they were rude and sarcastic on the phone when I voiced my frustration when they should up over 30 minutes late in the middle of the work day. Will be fighting for my HOA to consider other options for our community.

We were trying to recover a car in their tow yard. Call on Tuesday morning at 9:15 and are told by a woman the keys are available and the price of the tow and storage and fees is $875. We contract a transporter to pick up vehicle and submit the paperwork in person to release the vehicle at 2:15pm and the guy at Prince George can't change the print settings to print the documents correctly so the transporter is there for over 2 hours while we try and fax and other options. Finally adjust printer settings, and the price is $995 at 4:30pm. So payment is made, and now there are no keys for the vehicle at 6:52pm. Next day, Prince George doesn't help with a locksmith, so we contact a locksmith locally and he is not allowed to enter the impound yard until our transprter arrives. Finally, transpor

It's never fun paying to get your car back after it's been towed. Here's my best good, bad, and ugly review, as someone who had their car towed by PG Towing. Good: getting the car back was easy once I was able to talk with somebody, and they didn't make me feel any worse by lecturing me to keep parking laws. I know I messed up, so thanks for that. Bad: they work for my apartment complex, which is 10 miles and 20 minutes by car or 1 hour by bus plus walking from the lot. That's a real hassle for folks who obviously just lost their car. I wish they did work closer to their lot. Ugly: apparently their phones/internet we're down the day I got my car back, which means they needed $175 in cash, didn't have $5 change, and had to email a receipt several hours later. My car was towed because my parking permit, unfortunately, fell onto the seat. While I understand permits need to be displayed, the company showed no willingness to hear me out or work with me on resolving the situation. Their lack of understanding and dismissive attitude made an already frustrating experience worse. A little empathy would go a long way.

Nice driver help me out in a in a bad situation, tow to the auto parts store and helped me get the battery in stalled in my trunk. Didn’t even know my battery was in the trunk
