I had a check engine light on that no one could figure out. I tried O'Reilly's and AutoZone and a few other shops and all I did was waste money buying parts that they suggested that didn't fix my problem. A friend of mine told me about Ron at ProTec in South County, so I gave him a shot. He explained to me the difference between getting my codes read and an actual diagnostic and why getting your codes read is free and why you have to pay for a diagnostic. All together the diagnostic fee and the repair ended up costing less than what I spent trying all these different parts that everyone said I needed and the check engine light has not come back on and the car has been running great ever since. With all that being said I highly recommend ProTec Auto and we'll be going there from now on.
