Promax Performance

Ben is a great guy. I went in there today to pick up a vacuum secondary diaphragm for my 4160, and not only did he give me a much better deal than I was expecting, but he also helped me install it. He spent a good amount of time with me, figuring out the "quick change" kit that Holley had sent me because I was having trouble, and we eventually discovered it was defective! He also gave me great advice on my build. Don't hesitate to stop by if you need anything! Ben's the man.

I'm not sure how he stays in business and hasn't gotten hurt for screwing people around on such large amounts of money. After paying half upfront to build an engine and rebuild a transmission, Ben at Promax either avoided me or lied to me everytime i tried to talk to him. He gave me the runaround for months. I usually had to just show up to speak to him. After 8 months he still hadn't done anything at all to my motor. I literally had to threaten him to get my money back. He's a thief and a liar. There are much better options in Indy for carbs and giving your money away.

Ben is truly knowledgeable about carburetors and performance! My uncle and I began a project with his 1970 Plymouth AAR ‘Cuda. The car is 50 years old and had not run in about 10 – 12 years. It has 3 Holley 2-barrel carburetors. Plumbing fuel lines for these is not an easy task. Promax makes a kit that connects all 3 carburetors to the fuel feed. The kit fits perfectly and does not leak!!!! We had previously tried stainless steel fuel lines as well as a kit made by Earl’s (Holley). The stainless-steel lines were very rigid and leaked at the joints and the Earl’s kit did not fit (Holley is recalling hundreds of them). We wish we had started with Promax!!! We had a shipping delay; however, this was the fault of USPS, not Promax. Ben was extremely diligent and helped us track our package and
