Exceptional service today with Ken! Turns out my very expensive headlight started working again, rather than replacing. Jennifer at the front was also friendly, and got me in quickly for my perceived need. Forthcoming and helpful— I’ll come to them for more next auto need!

Very user friendly and will accommodate you if at all possible on short notice -- I called in the morning for a car inspection and had an appointment in the afternoon --I know that is not always possible because of previously scheduled service --don't hesitate to contact them for service on your car -- you will find them to be truthful and reliable 👍

Had a flat tire after driving out on the beach the day before. Took the tire to them and they had an inspection to perform. As soon as they finished that, they took the tire and fixed it right away. Wonderful service. Would recommend them to anyone needing help while on vacation.

Had car issues this past weekend. Had a mobile mechanic come out, but couldn’t complete the repair work. I was referred to Pugh’s, but told they didn’t open until Monday morning…it was Sunday. I called before the “open hours” on Monday, and had a tow truck there within 30-mins! My car was taken in, and a THOROUGH inspection completed. They didn’t just start throwing parts on it, they ACTUALLY dove into what the issues were. I can honestly say this mechanic shop is TOPNOTCH! Highly recommend if you ever have car issues around the Kill Devil, Nags Head, Kitty Hawk area!!

We were driving to Hatteras when our tire exploded doing a lot of damage to my right rear quarter panel and rear bumper rendering our vehicle undriveable. We managed to get to Hatteras on the back of a flatbed and after a recommendation from the towing company I had the car taken to Pugh's. Being an AWD I needed 4 tires replaced and needed the damage secured so it would not drag on the road.The OEM tires for my car are approximately $450 each. They recommended a different brand of tire for considerably less and secured my dangling body parts and charged me next to nothing for that. I was very happy since we didn't know anybody and we were fairly desperate and they could have tried to take advantage of our situation.
