Punkin's Super Lube & Oil

I always have a great experience at Punkin's. I've been getting my regular oil changes there for about 2 years... and most of my routine maintenance on my vehicles. The mechanic seems very knowledgeable, even with a few odd issues I've had with my car. I have no complaints. Thank you, Punkin's Super Lube, I appreciate you guys!

My husband took his Jeep there to have an O2 sensor replaced, the mechanic ripped the catalytic converter out in the process. We then had to go to another person to have the catalytic converter replaced. We went back after that, thinking the previous time was just one of those accidents that happen. Turns out we were wrong. We went in to have a U joint replaced, the mechanic said it wouldn't take long, we were there about 30 minutes. When we left, we noticed the jeep making a little bit of a noise, but didn't think too much of it, as the jeep is a 96 model and needs a few minor updates, but before this incident ran perfectly fine. The noise continued to get louder over the next few days, so we took it to another local mechanic. Turns out when he replaced the U joint, he didn't install it c

I had a horrible experience with this establishment. I had to leave my suburban there after going to basketball game. I told the guy that my daughters would be driving it to Dallas once it is done. It took him 3 weeks to change the oil pump, and water pump. Well he took a belt off and never put it back on, the water pump was leaking when my daughters got home and that was a 4 hour drive. I tried to explain to them that they charged me $1100 and when I took to the shop in town it cost me $1500 more to fix what he messed up. They won't get back with me with information about how to return some money to me but there has been to reply back. I don't recommend anyone using this shop. If I could give them zero stars I would.

Went in to get an oil leak fixed , engine light was on, that’s about the only thing that oddly started working right, they broke my undercarriage under the truck. Went back the next day they said, we told your husband. Didn’t attempt to do anything, took it to do oil change a month later they said I had an oil leak, I told them about the repair that was supposed to happen he said , they attempted to do something but no not fixed, go back the next month to have him check and it’s worse , now my truck is so bad, it’s costing me over 1,000 to fix a bigger issue because they made a quick fix and lied .

Went there to get my oil changed and noticed they didn’t take a filter down to the pit with them or anything. Was wondering if they even changed my oil or just topped me off and took my money. So I took it to another place and they told me they didn’t change my oil filter and they wasn’t sure they changed my oil. I have been a loyal customer there for many years and so has the rest of my family, but from now on we won’t be going back there. 🙁
