QMP Racing

*Edit 02/18/2025: May of 2024 I pulled my engine due to water in the oil. After pulling the plugs water began shooting out of the #6 spark plug hole. A forensic tear down revealed the MLS head gasket failed due to the incorrect gasket being installed. All my new, and used parts were trashed after about 12,000 miles. I sent the photos of the damage found to QMP via email and called them many times with no response. I went with another shop due to the lack of customer service and catastrophic damage. The only serviceable item was my block. I will not refer QMP to anyone. I may be the minority here, but I paid double at the new shop which equates to paying three times and heartache of dealing with all the teardown, down time, missed rally events and a huge chunk of savings gone.

Absolutely the worst company you will ever come across. NEVER build your engine with Mike Consolo, QMP Racing, or Brad owner of QMP Racing. NEVER have any work done with this shop. They will take your money and 100% of your sanity. I spent over $40,000 dollars and 5 years on all the machining work with Mike Consolo, Pete, and Brad on my motor. Mike Consolo was working very closely with Mitch Sanders and Famous AutoSports for years. Taking everyone's money. Mike, Pete, and Brad built my motor 3 times because they had no clue what they were doing. To date and after the 4th time building my motor, I find out yesterday that Mike, Pete, and Brad from QMP cracked my $10,000 Lamborghini block. Causing me to spend another $30,000k to get it fixed. I just had a chevy small block machined and prepped for building. Much respect to Brad Lagman and staff for helping me with my build. This is a fantastic shop to work with, with full capabilities for all aspects of race engine work.

Tuned a car using parts provided by qmp. Everything was very high quality. These guys take pride in what they do.the shop was very clean, and the machines they have are state of the art. The guys that work there have massive amounts of experience. Very impressed.
