Quail Run Retirement

We have been here for 5 years. We chose this park because of the price of lot rent and how clean and beautiful the community was. They have changed ownership and things are slowly going down. Our lot rent in 2020 was 490. Starting in Jan 26 it will be 740 that's an increase of 250. Those that moved in this year 2025 there lot rent went from 665 to 965 a 300 dollar increase in one year. They claim market value. How is one lot worth more then your neighbor. We have no amenities other then a very small clubhouse and small pool. They are not concerned about the people who live here just filling there pockets. They took away the dog park the shuffleboard outside. Well, I was looking at one of the mobile homes to buy the lot rent was 615 but when I asked about the lot rent in the office, they said it’s going up to 980 a month so I decided not to buy in there these mobile home retirement communities are getting outrageous. We don’t own the lot And they’re making money and what sad is after people buy there they’re stuck they cannot sell.
