I'm not a regular customer—it's been a while since my last visit, about 25 years, in fact. Back then, as a young man, I stumbled upon this shop and had the chance to speak with the owner. At the time, I had no idea who he was. I went on about how I had just bought a used VW from a private seller and expressed my deep love for VWs. After listening to my long-winded rant, he gently explained that they only worked on air-cooled VWs. Perhaps sensing my disappointment, he took pity on me and agreed to work on my car, even though it was outside their usual scope. That act of kindness left a lasting impression on me. I still own that car, and I'll never forget the compassion shown by a man who didn’t have to help, but chose to anyway. Your kindness has not been forgotten. Thank you.

I can't say enough good things about Qualitat. Doug and Murphy not only give you the best quality work, but it's more affordable than most shops I've been to. After sitting for about a year, they put a new gas tank, lines, brake booster, etc into my 68 Bus and got it running top of the line. My undersized exhaust was robbing my bus of power without me realizing it, Murphy suggested I change out the exhaust and now my bus has a lot more POWER! They even solved my overheating problems. These guys are the real deal and I'm lucky to have found a shop this awesome. They have a waiting list for a reason and it's because they are the best around.
