Quality Tune Up

Be carefull !!!! If you go to this shop make sure you know what is wrong and then double check before you leave. I went to get a part for my engine. They found the part and replaced it. It seemed good at first then right after I drove it for my test drive it wasn't even 10 min when my check engine light came on rhe car started shaking. I had to back for them to replace that same part because either the mechanic did not put it in correctly or the part was faulty. But they did correct that issue. But that was a close call. Another time they did installed bad components. Their parts had barely even lasted 10k miles. We had even came back 2 years later to find out their diagnosis is to replace those same part so they must've forgotten they were the ones who put those parts in. Really weird.

I love this shop cause they quickly find the problem with my car and fix it A.S.A.P They are now closed on Mondays. They accept cash and card. They don't do songs anymore but they have places to refer you to.

This place reminds me of my grandfather's garage when I was growing up. Bob is a true blue mechanic from back in the day--knows how to work on old school motors along with the modern engines. Went in on a fluke just to get an oil change from a ValPak coupon. His guys weren't trying to oversell me anything, but (preliminary) diagnosed a leak, from my timing cover. They weren't trying to tell me there were problems with my car that I didn't have and probably will save me several thousand dollars in unnecessary work. Definitely the place to take your car to, an honest mechanic, good service, took good care of the car, not a rush job. (He gets cars from the 40's, 50's and 60's to fix. Came for a tune up at 10am took till 1pm Costs $200, on my way back home check engine light started flashing and car started jolting. The shop wouldn’t answer the phone, so I had to leave my car on the side of road. To have it towed back to the shop the next day. Arrive at 9am and they still didn’t finish fixing it till about 2pm.

It's actually called Bob's automotive now, great place for oil changes, nice people, no more smog checks! The only issue I have is they don't call you to let you know if the car is ready and they are always off on the time your car will be ready, so you end up waiting.
