Popped a tire on Cross Island Pkwy at 1:12am. Jacked it up & couldn’t get the bolts off. They were on too tight. Called AAA at 1:36am. They don’t service on Pkwys. Ok. Drive 2 minutes on my flat. Call them again. “We’ll send someone in 1.5 hours”. Ok fine. AAA dispatch calls me 45 minutes later at 2:16am “we can’t find any one but we can call you a taxi. Someone can change the flat in the morning at 7:00am”. ????. Not doing that. I’ll FIO. Google -> Called the first listed roadside service. Guy wants $175 dollars cash. I said okay. What else am I going to do? Its 2 in the morning. Gut instinct tells me to get another quote. Next company says $150-$200. And they want me to fill out an online form. Called Queens Towing Service at 2:19am. Third company I tried. Their rate was nearly half. T

Worst towing in the tri state area. They will lie and tell you they’re on the way then never show up. They will lie when the ask for updates. Do not use this service, even if you’re desperate. Plenty of other towing services.

Called to inquire about towing a vehicle and the person answered stated they do not do that service and immediately hung up without giving me any opportunity to ask other questions. Do yourself a favor, Try other towing companies with better customer service. NOT HERE!

By far the best experience I have had with any roadside/towing request. My vehicle was disabled in a parking garage and used AMEX roadside assistance to request a tow to mechanic. The first company they sent could not do the job due to the clearance of the garage. They, then, contacted Intra Towing and within minutes Mike called me to confirm and get more details about my situation. He understood the environment based upon my description and sent a "low clearance" specialist, bet you didn't know there was such a thing.
