I loved working with Noel. I was doing a quick errand in San Diego. I live in Los Angeles, and my car developed a brake problem on the way down to San Diego that needed to be fixed before I could get back. I came to this place first because of the good reviews online. Noel quickly did a diagnostic and gave me a quote for same-day service. I got another quote from another shop, and when I told him, he simply asked what price would keep my business—no pressure, no attitude. We settled on a fair number, and he finished a brake booster + master cylinder job the same day, right before closing. The next morning I came back because a light popped up on the dash. He checked it immediately and confirmed it was just an oil/service reminder. Quick, friendly, honest service. Highly recommend. Next

RB Tire & Brake is a professional, reliable and trustworthy shop. The crew here are recognized for it with awards and high reviews and deserve it. I work around the block at a gym nearby and last week had a flat tire when I tried to leave. I came in on my spare tire at around 4pm, an hour before close. Noel and crew took in the damaged wheel overnight, ordered a new tire and had it delivered by 12pm the next day. Went back and the tire was changed in about 20-30 minutes. All in for a reasonable price; I also noticed they restored all other tires to appropriate air pressure and reset the car's warnings. It was like a pit stop, they went the extra mile. I’ve been going to RB Tire and Brake for nearly 40 years and have always received excellent auto care and great customer service. They’re consistently professional, reliable, and staffed with the best mechanics. I’ve trusted all of my cars to them over the years and recommend them to all of my friends and neighbors. They are AWESOME—I can’t say enough good things about this shop!

First off, I will say that Noel is quite friendly and jokes around a lot, which most people appreciate as do I. However, this trait of his also gets people to feel comfortable with and trust him right away, perhaps prematurely, as unfortunately was the case with myself as well. I was actually initially going to the Japanese Auto Repair nextdoor to his shop but ended up seeing him instead since the other place had already closed for the day. I told him about the noise I was hearing from the rear driver-side wheel and felt it was my brakes. He said a brake job on the rear wheels would cost me $380 to $400. Then I called the Acura dealership, and their price was $370! That should've been my first flag because if a shop has to LOWER its price to match the notoriously expensive DEALERSHIP PRICE

I had to do a brake replacement and saw the great reviews and close distance from my house. Service was very great and the staff was so nice and helpful since I had no idea what was happening. Definitely will be going back next time I have car troubles!
