Came by because I thought I had a leak, one guy came out to help me and walked me through my issues so fast. Didn't get any work done but I deeply respect someone willing to teach another person for free. Would highly recommend them.

I've been bringing my vehicles to R Inspections for years, and they always make the process quick and easy! They used to charge $25.50 for a full inspection, and it took under 15 minutes. With the law changes in 2024, inspections now cost just $18.50 and take under 5 minutes. Since Texas no longer requires safety inspections, they only check emissions now--which means I'm in and out in no time, ready to register my vehicle. The team here is always professional, efficient, and hassle-free. Plus, since they're owned by the same folks as The Pro Amigo (across the street for vehicle repairs), I know I can trust them to be honest and reliable. Luis and his crew are the best! Always a quick inspection, he’s honest and always smiling. ***Pro tip—-if you just installed a new battery, your car (most “newer cars, even decades old) must go through “drive cycles” before the computer system will clear X amount of things needed to pass inspection. It doesn’t necessarily mean something is wrong with the car, it’s just how the computers work. I learned this with my van, and googled to see how to go through the drive cycles. Every vehicle is different. Could take up to 200-500 miles of driving or simple tricks (usually in owners manual labeled EMISSION DRIVE CYCLE etc.) with a new battery so keep that in mind. YouTube is your friend. Awesome kind business owner. Year after year he’s consistently friendly and reliable.
