I have a few high-milage cars. Each of them have visited R&M a few times...over 10 years. Once or twice things didn't go as expected. And 100% of the time I've been done right by them. So good times and bad, R&M does good work at fair prices. And they could have -- but never have done any shady stuff. Whatever they say you can trust.

I recently had to have an inspection done on my dad's GMC Canyon and I noticed that the brake lights weren't working so I took it to Firestone in Belmont. They weren't able to fix the situation and they advised me to take the truck to a dealership or to an electrical mechanic. So I went to Victory Chevrolet in Mt. Holly and the service advisor told me that I shouldn't waste any money in the vehicle because it was old and smelled liked mold, mildew and had the worst water damage he's ever seen. I inspected the truck myself and didn't see any water damage, mold or mildew. The smell was actually from some grease and oil that had been in the truck. I recently had some major repairs done rather than taking on car payments. They tell you what the repairs will cost and approximately how long they will need to keep your vehicle. I tell everyone about their great work. Always get you in day you call if needed. Can't praise them enough. Thank you!

I found this shop to be very honest. I asked for something to be fixed and they said it wasn't a problem. They just made a quick switch fix and saved me about $150. Will definitely be using them as my local mechanic shop.

The people at R&M are extremely friendly. They are also very knowledgeable. I know sometimes auto centers get a bad name for trying to rip people off but my experience was exactly the opposite. R&M had my truck for a while and when they couldn't figure out the issue (they don't specialize in diesel engines) they recommended me to a diesel specialist and took care of me on the labor charges that I had incurred. All in all I would recommend R&M to anyone looking to have their car fixed.
