R & R Automotive

Had my pulley go right before Christmas on vacation near Acadia. Had me all set the next day and installed a metal one instead of the newer plastic. Very fairly priced for parts and labor. Highly recommend 👌

My van popped a coolant hose leak a short distance from Randy's shop on a Friday eve after everything was closed, so I pulled in there hoping for a quick assessment soon as they opened. Randy diagnosed and repaired it quickly and efficiently first thing Monday morning, didn't over-charge me, sent me off with extra coolant just in case, and was very gracious about my having camped in his lot over the weekend. Thank you Randy!

Always great service, never any issues. Randy is great to deal with.

The job took way longer than it should have and the amount of labor charged was inflated. The cost of labor is also higher than most local shops. On the parts end, un-requested parts were used and I was charged for far more fluids than the vehicle actually holds. When questioned about this Randy became extremely defensive and ended the conversation rather than clearly and accurately describing the work done and how it ended up costing as much as it did.

I called (literally) dozens of mechanics between Bar Harbor and Bangor. Everyone was either booked for weeks or didn’t do RV repairs. I have a 35’ class A and my master cylinder was leaking. When I called Randy, he didn’t flinch. He got me in as soon as the part arrived. I’ve driven about 400 miles since the brake repair, and all is good. Thanks for getting me back on the road, Randy!
