RAABE RACING

I purchased a custom 1975 Corvette that was "built" by Raabe & Co. The original owner, an older gentleman named Mr. John Wood, spent $100k+ to have the car put together and ultimately sold it for $30k after it was returned to him in undriveable condition. Some high dollar parts were used, to include a Tremec Magnum T56 transmission and Wilwood brakes. At the end of the day, I couldn't have built the car for anywhere near the low price that I paid, but they ripped off poor Mr. Wood. Absolutely shoddy welding and fabrication. Most of the work was just ugly, but much of it was downright dangerous. The fiberglass and paint work look great, but underneath the facade was a disaster. I've had my car in twice for exhaust work. Ed and his team have been nothing but excellent to work with. Both jobs done on time. Highly recommend.

Towed my car with a tow truck that was recently rebuilt after a car accident. So my car was the mannequin or the test dummy if you will. Complained about my cars stock ride height. Then wrecked my front end completely. After weeks of arguing and holding my car hostage, not allowing me to get to work, because he had the car for a month plus. We finally got the car back. Come to realize when he uninstalled all of my lights and horns off my car. He ripped the wiring and uninstalled everything by breaking it. I would highly not recommend going to this business based off of how they treated us and other people. My classic went from a daily driver to a lawn ornament. Went for carburetor to be dialed in. Within a hr my car went from driving to not even being able to leave the parkinglot. Stalling. Sputtering and a new knocking noise in the engine. I had to tune carb myself just to leave the parkinglot. And a simple hr and half tune up for $150 went to "we can fix it for about $1600+". My car now runs like garbage and I have to pay yet another mechanic to fix it.

I would not recommend this shop to my worst enemy. Poor customer service and overpriced. After over a year and four painters later, paint still has multiple flaws. They did not put a car back together has multiple missing parts and hardware. My car was running and driving when I dropped if off. When I picked it up it doesn't stay crunk. They never didn't inform me of this issue until the tow truck was there. If I could leave negative stars I would
