Raccoon Express $5 Car Wash

Pricy for a car wash. Easily goes to $30 with a few add-ons. I expected a better job from a full-size car wash for those prices. Windshield was still dirty, and streaks on the hood.

My ONLY issue with this place is that there have been gigantic potholes right after you leave the car wash for years now. Please please get them fixed. Besides them swallowing up my little sedan, in the winter when the snow melts it creates huge mud puddles that I have to drive right through to exit the car wash in my (previously) nice clean car. Otherwise great value for the price and everyone who works there has always been pleasant and professional towards me.

Loved to come here for the self serve bays, which were $1 a minute and could pay by coins, cash or card. It was the only car wash that did $1 minutes, which was convenient when I just wanted to rinse some mud off or bird droppings. They also have dryers which make drying a car much easier. Unfortunately the when I went yesterday, signs were put up saying $5 minimum for cards, and the coin slots were blocked by tape, and the cash slots were not working. Will be looking for a new car wash since I will not be paying $5 to use a sprayer for a minute

Well-organized car wash. Never too busy and easy to navigate. The free vacuums are a nice touch. That is why I always keep coming back. Do yourself a favor and choose one of the cheaper automatic washes. The Works for $20 is overpriced, and you get the same quality with the more affordable options.

It’s one of the few self service washes left so that’s a plus. The automatic car wash does not do that great of a job, on SUV’s, but hey it’s $5. You can pay $20, but it still doesn’t do a great job. Best to pre wash yourself, and then go thru the tunnel wash. The self service has been having a problems with holding pressure and you can lose some time while it machine guns it’s way back to full pressure. Best to avoid when all the bays are full, as you will spend a LOT of time and $$ trying to wash your ride. But there’s nothing else around. Can’t beat the price, and free vacuums.
