Race City Water Works

I get the phrase “you get what you pay for” so I shouldn’t expect much for a $10 car wash but it SHOULD wash the car, correct? Half the jets were clogged. Very little soap came out. Doesn’t even look like I went thru a car wash. Avoid this place.

Visited here to remove pollen from my vehicle and clean some crumbs on the driver’s side. While the facility is a bit dated, the $6 wash was reasonably effective, and the free vacuum service was a nice bonus. However, I noticed that not all the soap was rinsed off during the wash. Overall, it’s an affordable option, but it may not meet the standards of a premium car wash. If you have an older car or just need a quick wash or rinse, this place might be a better option

I've gotten car washes here before and never had a complaint. Today, I paid for The Works touch free wash. While the front and sides seemed to be ok, the back of the car looked untouched. It was as filthy as when I pulled in. It wasn't until I was loading groceries 20 minutes later that I noticed this.

This used to be a really nice car wash. Not any more. Two of the 3 bays weren’t working and the one that is did not get our vehicle clean AND left soap all over. One of the jets is malfunctioning and shoots out water at such a high pressure that my husband had to get out and inspect the vehicle to make sure it didn’t do any damage. Don’t waste your time or money!

This used to be my favorite car wash because of the touchless Bay but now too many trips to wash the car and the bays are either closed or they don’t work well enough to clean the car. I’ll move on now.
