Rachel's Towing & Recovery

Stranded on the side of US 1 with our 1930 Model A "Hank" and suddenly he overheated. Called Rachel's Towing and Mr. Anibal responded very quickly, loaded up Hank and took us all home. Thank you for your prompt service, professionalism and care given to Hank. If we need towing in the future...it's Rachel's we will be calling.

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS! I was in an accident, and this tow truck driver informed me he was required to bring it to his tow lot. I asked him to bring it to my house instead, and he refused. He did not tell me that he needed cash – which I had – told me it had to go to the lot of his choice. When I called him out on it the next day after confirming with my lawyer, that is not true, he blamed it on the Melbourne police. I confirmed the law with the Melbourne police – as long as I could pay cash at the scene then they are required to tow it where I request. Absolute scam! BEWARE! Their response was “you have insurance - they’ll pay for it”

These people are extremely rude. I would never hire this company. It will soon be 2020 and I’m no longer putting up with businesses that are rude to people over the phone. April clearly has issues and shouldn’t interact with the general public. Any review that’s on here saying that these people are nice is from a fake account they’ve made. I’ve attempted using this company twice and both times this lady has been rude and/or mumbles and gets upset when you ask her to repeat what she said. I’ve never spoken with anyone as miserable as this lady is that she feels the need to talk so rudely to potential customers.

They price gouge and only accept cash with no possibility of change back somehow. The owner knows her prices are ridiculous and even starts out escalating the conversation into confrontational with threats on cost and similar trouble for no reason. She refers to herself in third person to avoid any blame.

You have had possession of my girlfriends car for two days now. No one answers your business phone. We have called all day and all night for two days. How is this fair? You have possession of peoples property and you don’t answer your phone and there’s no voicemail and when you fill out the thing for you to get back to us online you never did? Not sure how this is even legal because I’m sure you are going to charge us for the two days that we have been calling and calling . If we could get a hold of anyone at your business we could’ve picked the car up two days ago. Now the best we can do is show up at your door on Monday morning in the hopes that you are open. This is the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen.
