I just wanted to give a big thank you to Ramona Automotive. My car wouldn’t pass smog. I took it to Eric and he had me already and fixed up the next day with my smog cert , tags are coming in the mail. Everything all in 1 stop! Had a great experience no stress very fast, great work! Have an old 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 we just listed for sale Online. I needed a Smog Certificate to provide to the new buyer. I live in Julian and decided to look in Ramona for a place to smog the truck. I checked prices and reviews and prices and decided to go to Ramona Automotive. Their smog price was fair and they had a good retest fee if it didn’t pass the first time. We did not have an appointment and their garage looked full but they were able to do our smog test right away. We went and got something to drink while it was being smogged and when we got back the smog test was done. Maybe only took 15 minutes. The Truck had passed the smog test the first time. The Lady who checked us in was really nice! She handled the paperwork quickly. We paid our reasonable bill and were on our way

Ramona Automotive is the best! I've got an older car with upkeep issues. Been to this shop twice. Eric never tries to sell you something you don't need and explains the how's and why's for each service. Reasonable pricing. Highly recommend.

I am so indebted to Eric and his shop for diagnosing my car's issue and replacing fuel injectors and spark plugs. Having just moved to Ramona I was without a trustworthy mechanic, and now I have one! Eric put me at ease immediately and I am quite impressed with his reasonable prices and the fact that he tracked down the best prices of replacement parts for my "mature" car.
