I love this mechanic shop! As a woman I appreciate this shop for their TRANSPARENCY and kindness. I’ve been coming here for the last year and have had numerous services like oil changes, oil leak fixed, pre-purchase inspections done, and so on. They BREAK DOWN and SHOW YOU everything. If they say you need new tires they take pictures of everything and show you where the dry rot is or using the tool to show you the tire tread is too low. They don’t just say you need things fixed and keep you in the dark. They’ve walked me back before to show me rust under the vehicle while they still had it up on the lift. My experience at Randall’s was nothing much amazing, friendly, and very clear all the way. I had an engine light that had been a constant pain and question mark for about 3 weeks. I had went to Randall’s after seeing all the good views and with trust in their services I went, got a smoke test, and after a diagnosis appointment they were able to find the best possible issue. I had been in a rush for getting my car back that same week because of college and they were incredibly nice and understanding of my situation. They ordered my parts and fixed my car up and after they even gave me a warranty for a lot of miles in case the light comes back on. I’ve lived in Greensboro for a few years now and Randall was recommended to me by a Greensboro native that I knew before I came here. I’ve taken my 2007 Honda to them several times during my time here for all manner of things from oil changes to more complex repairs. They’ve done a bang up job every time in both quality and timing. Their repairs/replacements have always stood up, and their timing is terrific. A very quick and efficient team apparently. We went for a repair estimate on our 22yo Pontiac Vibe. They brought us in the same day which was appreciated. The reception area was clean, and the staff was polite. The bathroom is also very clean which is important. My ex husband was a mechanic, his father owned a very similar garage in NY, and I was prepared for the games. Except there weren't any. They were direct and upfront about the repairs and costs, and didn't try to talk me into other repairs, or an air filter (silliest upsell ever) Unfortunately, the repairs were more than the car was worth, so we purchased another car and let that poor car rest in peace. I took one star off, for parking, and because our family garage never charged anyone for a quart of oil if it was low, we would have just told them we topped it off for them.
