Ray and Tony Mechanic Garage

STAY AWAY. This shop held my car for 90 days for a repair the owner (Tony) finally admitted he didn't have the equipment for. I was issued a $1,500 invoice, paid $657 upfront, and spent over $2,500 on rentals—only to lose my job because he kept stalling and lying. When I finally towed it out today, the car was buried so deep in the lot that the police had to block traffic on Dixie Highway just to extract it. I have officially filed a fraud and mediation case with the Kentucky Attorney General. Do not trust them with your vehicle.

While my initial experience was not the best, Tony personally called me after hours to discuss what happened with his employee and was very apologetic. He offered to fix the issue with my radiator and leaking coolant at his expense and did just that. We discussed some minor mechanical work that needs to be done, and I'll be returning in the future to have that taken care of.

Excellent service. I was traveling to Kentucky and my car broke down. I went to Ray and Tony and they did an excellent job quickly and for a very good price. I recommend.

5/5. Tony helped me out big time. I was traveling in the area when my car started overheating. Other repair shops, including two local dealerships didn't even take/return my calls. Tony had me come right in, diagnosed the issue as a leaking water pump. He ordered the part and got the repair done while we were in town. I got back on the road at my schedule departure. This momma is very thankful for quick, reasonable, and quality repair. Thank you!!! Literally a life saver ❤️
