Staying at the near by camp ground and wanted an easily way to ride around at night and see all of the Christmas lights. Stopped in and were told we would get a better deal if we took the cart for five days verse the three we had intended. Heck, made sense to us. It was gas cart initially, there was a strong smell of gas. After driving around for a few hours the smell was gone. We had a two person version with a platform on the back where our Aussie rode.

Absolutely wonderful experience awaits you when you arrive at the Red Bug counter inside the fix based operators office of the Jekyll Island airport. You will be greeted by the friendliest staff and most accommodating folks you can imagine For pilots coming in for lunch,They have a two hour complementary electric unit at no charge. And if you want a full size gas unit you can plan on about $75.00 but then you are cool for 4 hours. Definitely the way to go if you have time to explore which we did today. An absolutely wonderful experience ❤️

We loved our Red Bug Motors Cart the week we stayed at Jekyll Island! Phoebe always called shotgun for passenger seat so whoever didn't drive had to sit in backseat. Our car stayed parked at the hotel. We cruised the whole island day and night.

I absolutely loved this place!!!! The owner came and picked up my group of friends and took us to the rental place. He also drove us back to where our shuttle bus was going to pick us up. Good prices. 10/10 would come back.

We flew here by plane and landed here. The staff was very friendly and rented us a golf car that made it super easy to get around the island. I highly recommend renting one if you don’t have any transportation vehicles. The golf cars are super easy to drive and has turn signals land head lights. Anyone over 21 can drive/rent one. The airport gas is self service fyi. There plenty of room for multiple planes to park here overnight.
