Rent-A-Wreck

I have been renting my car here, when visiting the DC area for years. What first attracted me was that renting from Rent a Wreck costs me about 1/2 what I would pay renting near the airport. It’s a quick metro ride from airport to Rockville. A short walk from the metro to Rent a Wreck. And a nice car awaits. I appreciate the friendly staff. One time, over the past 15 years, I had trouble starting a car. The staff immediately drove to me to deliver a fresh car. Good people. Good value. Nice cars. Highly recommend.

The gentlemen at the N. Washington St. location were very pleasant, friendly, and helpful. We rented a Toyota Corolla and were well pleased with the car and the rental price. We highly recommend Rent-A-Wreck in Rockville. Many thanks.

If you’re okay renting an older, used, vehicle at a lower price point then this place is for you. Clyde is awesome to work with. The cars aren’t very old, just older and drive very well.

Attempted to rent a car from them, but they didn't have one. Booked it and everything. A couple weeks out, they called to let me know nothing was available. They still asked me to write a review. I'd avoid at all costs.

Extremely poor customer service from the owner nonetheless. I was setup with this company through insurance to get a rental. When I called I was told that I had $30 a day limit and that the full size vehicle was $55 a day. I was told by the owner to contact the insurance company and have them change it to $55 a day. I asked what cars they had available and he said older cars (2012-2014) which was no problem, but then he said he only had small vehicles which confused me since he just quoted $55 for a full size. He got upset at my questions and told me to find a vehicle somewhere else. It was a blatant lack of customer service and care. He was extremely rude and overall unkind. Please find somewhere else, literally ANYWHERE else. This guy thinks he and and his out of date high mileage vehicl
