Took my Jeep to find the source of a mysterious noise out of the rear end. They said the right rear wheel bearing was bad, and the left rear was starting to make noise also. They then recommended to change the front bearings also. I told them I would do the rear only. Then they said a wheel alignment was recommended (for the rear wheels?) at the same time. The quote for repair came in at over $1,500! I said that it was too expensive. They dropped the price $100 out of the kindness of their heart. I told them I would think about it. Would recommend assuring details are correct for parts and more effective communication and transparency with clients. My experience below: I went in at 8:15 to get my tire patched, the front desk kindly said they could fix it but it would be 10 minutes until a mechanic would be arriving. I agreed to wait. After waiting, someone comes in and mentions my back tires are worn and recommends I change them. I let him know that in the past my tires had to be ordered, he assured me he “has them in the back.” After some hesitation, due to an appointment I had at 9:30, I agreed. Truck was working great before taking to you guys and decided to take my truck for spark plugs replacement after they finished replacing spark plugs they told me everything was great and working. After a few hours on the road started noticing the truck was misfiring and was like that till I got to my destination mind you I had a 17 hr drive for work. Once I got to my to my destination I decided to take it to a mechanic shop so they can take a look at it. Come to find out one of the spark plugs was cracked. They could’ve done a better job at making sure the parts they were putting in were in good condition instead of sending me off with a bad spark plug. Being new to the area I really didn’t know who to take my car to when it started squealing like crazy. My son had used Palmview Tire and Service for his inspection last year and said try them.
