Ricardo's Mechanic Shop

Had what we thought was a power steering pump issue on our way to Dallas. Made our way to Ricardo's and they took absolutely amazing care of us. Found out that a prior repair wasn't done right and got us all fixed up and back on the road. Can't thank them enough for staying and getting us back on the road.

I'm traveling to Houston and started having problems with the truck and sensor lights on. I found Ricardo's on maps "Mechanic near me". They showed me and explained the problem and fixed it immediately. My tire needed a bearing hub replacement. The tire was moving back and forth. Dangerous. These guys were so sweet, polite, professional. They were closed and worked on my truck anyway on a Saturday. I watched them take care of another traveling customer that came in after me. I'm so greatful and I pray God pours out blessings on this business, the workers and their familiea.

Joseph switched out my battery in my truck one day, and wouldn’t charge me. He did some other work on my truck one day and was very knowledgeable, helpful, and very trustworthy. When fixing one of the problems with my truck, Joseph made sure and wanted to try all he could before dumping a lot of money into my truck, which made me realize how honest and trust worthy he was. 1000000% recommend.

It’s clear the owner is mechanically gifted and likely passed that gift onto his worker. They’re both honest, dependable, and knowledgeable! He diagnosed and fixed our ac condenser within no time. I give these guys 10 stars, instead of just 5. Will be back for more work in the future. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend Ricardo’s Mechanic Shop! I rarely leave reviews but we had such a positive experience with this shop I needed to share. We took our van to Ricardo’s shop after we broke down near Buffalo. Our van is a ford e350 lifted 4x4 with a v10 engine, so not something that every mechanic is willing or able to work on. Despite being really busy, they prioritized diagnosing our problem hoping to get us back on the road. We ended up needing a new engine, which they were able to locate and install incredibly quickly for an amazing price. There ended up being some manufacturer defects/breaking in issues with the engine (not their work) which we took to a mechanic closer to us, who didn’t know what they were doing. Ricardo helped us out over the phone several times to answer our questions
