Richie's Repairs

My car was making a terrible grinding sound so I took it to a top rated shop in Mid City, they told me it was too old for them to work on but recommended Richie‘s. In the process of driving it over there it ground to a complete stop and was inoperable, turns out the brakes had been locked in position and I was driving this way until I couldn’t get it to roll forward anymore. I don’t know much about cars but feared a ~$1000 bill as this is around what I’ve paid the last few times my vehicle has developed a concerning noise, and on these occasions, I still was able to at least operate it. I was prepared to replace the brakes, calipers, maybe even repair the wheels from all the grinding, or stress on the engine from gunning it so hard just to get the thing to roll again on the way there. Richie's has come through twice for my little Nissan and they went out of the way to help figure out the issues to make sure what they were doing was going to fix the issue. The price was very reasonable. They were very transparent/honest and went out of the way to accommodate my work schedule and made sure my car was working again! :)

They are honest and hard-working mechanics at this shop. Ritchie and his son tell you exactly what is wrong with your car, what they need to do to fix it, and exactly how much it'll cost. No BS and they get the job done exceptionally fast. I highly recommend this shop for your mechanical needs.

Best Father and Son mechanic shop in Greater New Orleans! They will not rip you off or overcharge you for being a lady who knows nothing about cars. Been using them for years. Would recommend these good honest mechanics to anyone!!! Come here for car repairs!!!
