My brakes were acting up on the way into maupin, they started making a funny noise coming into town, so before I headed back (for a 2 hour drive) I asked them to check it out, they discovered my caliper was loose! Yikes! Fixed the whole thing up on the spot for a pittance. Great guys, very good mechanics!

My fiancée stopped by there during a stressful road trip because her oil light came on. She doesn’t know much about cars and was hoping to find some helpful people (based on other reviews for this place) but instead was met with a jerk who had a hard time answering questions from a woman who was in need of help. She luckily was able to find the oil needed but her customer service experience there was not good.

Honest As the Day is Long: We had an air pressure sensor light come on and stopped in, honestly not expecting a lot. We'd just visited a local waterfall. The owner, whose father-in-law owned it before him, offered to check and add air. He refused any money. I felt bad that I couldn't fill up because my car requires premium, but he insisted and wished us a safe trip. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to get my car fixed or serviced there even though it's an out of the way location.

Most helpful people I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I hit a rock and destroyed my tire. We were camping in Maupin. They didn't have a replacement but they did go out of their way to find a replacement in Madras, and had it on my rim waiting for me to come in the next morning. They had us back on our way to explore the area in no time flat. 100 stars!

I love old gas stations and this is one of them. The people here are always friendly and helpful.
