Rick's Custom Rods and Repair have been wonderful to work with. I have a 1926 Ford model T. I drive it a lot. I can call and even on a time line they get me in. My alternator went out the day before the Payette cruise. They knew I needed one crome and got it in. I was able to cruise. The following day we had the cars in the park and got people's choice award. Couldn't have done it without them. I have used them a few times for this car. They are affordable, quick and they explain everything. They are knowledgeable and go over and beyond. It's hard finding mechanics that share your passion for history on wheels. I look forward to referring friends, family and those I meet along they way to them.

I've been working with Rick's Custom Rods for over a year. I restore old cars as a hobby and am working on two right now. I have read some of the negative reviews that have been posted and although Rick and I have had a couple of issues, he has always made things right. When you are restoring vintage cars, you don't know the real condition of the car until it's torn apart. For that reason it is almost impossible to give an accurate estimate of cost until the needed repairs are determined. This can't be done by a simple visual inspection. This isn't a cheap hobby. Expect the worst. Rick and Hans will work with you. It's very rewarding to drive off in a restored classic.

Great family owned shop, great service, great prices , great work ethic. My small ford E450 box truck broke down with a blown spark plug n coil, was there in town for two days n no shop was available or wanted to do the job.(apparently its a pain to work on this fords specially on a blown spark plug). I came across Ricks shop thanks to Jesse in BW hotel, Rick said come on in tomorrow early morning and him n his team got to it n did a phenomenal job at a great fair price (not taking advantage of my situation), they had a great kit for the problem and explained to me what exactly they did to my truck. Despite all of the negative reviews that I read and as an independent woman, I decided to try out Rick. As my mechanic for over a decade retired. Referred by two different individuals. I must say I made the right choice. Rick explained everything to me as to what was happening to my car and was super reasonable!! I have found my mechanic for sure! Highly recommended!!!

What exceptional service with shop getting my diesel looked at the same day, caring about ny needs! The shop explained everything in detail resulting in knowing exactly what was done to get me and my truck back on the road.
