I wanted a custom tank for my Airstream Motorhome. I received it after 18 weeks. The quality is good. The cost was very expensive. They originally estimated 8 weeks. Hector, the salesman, was the main reason for the long delivery. I sent my sketches for them to make a CAD model. After 3 weeks I called Hector and he forwarded a drawing based on my sketches. I noticed that he had received it from the drafter 21 days before. When I questioned him about the delay he said "I don't need this. I can refund your down payment and end this right now". I still needed a tank and had now invested 3 weeks into it. So I said continue. Basically every conversation I had with him ended with attitude like that. Go somewhere else if you can.
My 96 Impala SS tank just arrived. It looks amazing. I have to say I'm super happy with the packaging job. Whoever packaged it up treated it like they truly cared that it arrives without any damage. Not a scratch on it, boxed up tight with lots of padding. Thanks Hector!
Would not quote a simple tank for me. Chuoy was rude on the phone, and acted too busy to discuss my project. Very poor customer service. After no response with two follow-ups, and then after emailing the main customer service address, and no response - I went elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and find a different company to build your tank.
Completely amazed they make a fuel injection tank for my 1969 AMC AMX ....And they will actually talk to you and answer any questions 💯💯💯
Had a rear mount tank built for my 72 Chevy C10. The overall quality of the tank is excellent. Had to do a little frame grinding to get the perfect fit but it was minimal. The best part about a Ricks tank is the look from behind. Most aftermarket EFI tanks on the market hang down in the rear and you can see them below the rear bumper line. But with a Ricks tank they taper the tank downward towards the rear axle hiding the tank as much as possible. Ricks tanks utilizes GM pumps for LS swaps and they make it easy to eliminate the need for a return line plus they have excellent tech support and was always more than willing to help me with my install questions. Ricks tanks are little more expensive on the market but you get what you pay for. Will be a customer again. Casey
