Rick fixed my truck and did extra work and than charged me extra for money some kid said I owed him. Mind you this kid kelly was on drugs and I did not owe him anything. He owed me time due to him not putting in the hours he should have. Rick got in the middle of this and charged me extra for the work to pay this guy. He got involved in things that had nothing to do with him and also believed this kid whom was a drug addict. Do not go to Rick. He is shady.

Ya'll! I am so sick and tired of my truck being in the shop! Who, in the history of anyone you know, puts their vehicle in the shop, and slowly loses bits of his life, work, money, time with kids, dating, friends and family visits, while he waits for it to be done, for an ENTIRE YEAR!!?? If ANYONE knows RIDES BY RICK in Vicksburg, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT take your vehicle to him!! Swell guy, even offered payments on the final work for the trouble, but he'll use that to his advantage while he rattles off every excuse in the book as to why it's still not done yet. I sent the truck to Rick for transmission work back in December. Spent so long 'trying to get it running' that I spent $1100 on, only to get 12 minutes down the road and the trans smoked out. Couple months later, paid him another

Rick does a terrific job and his pricing is more than fair. It's not often a person can say their mechanic is trustworthy. My mechanic IS trustworthy. Rides by Rick is the only place we trust to keep our vehicles on the road. Rick is our mechanic for life. He should be your family's too.

Attempted to purchase a truck with 4x4. Put 500 down on it the beginning of the summer. THE truck was never completed. When he Attempted to deliver it finally at the end of the summer the 4x4 DID NOT WORK along with many other issues. Tail gate actually fell off in our hands upon inspection. When we met with Rick he apologized about the condition of the truck, he even Assured us "being a good Christian and all" he'd get that 500 dollars back to us just soon as he could. Truck never delivered to us. Money never returned. When called the shop this morning <September 18th 2020> Lori actually hung up on us while attempting to find out what was happening with the money promised. BUYER BEWARE

I took my 1955 Ford to Rides by Rick located in Vicksburg Mi.in April 2018. He was supposed to repair the floor and repaint the car. I drove it off the trailer into his shop, and after 5 months later it had to be pushed/come-along winch... this is what I got back. floors removed, fenders off. He promised to be finish by June 1st, then mid July, then late August. I stopped by his shop every two weeks to see the progress. One delay after another. I showed up first thing on Monday morning Aug 20th and took my car back. Very disappointed, I wanted to support a small business and a local guy. He promised to refund my deposit but has not. I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau, Rick's response was filled with lies. He twisted the details of our agreement and produced a phony invoice.
