An honest mechanic shop for travelers Imagine sun is sinking on late Friday afternoon after crossing two states, still hours from home, and the sound of metal grating pavement happens while backing out of a gas station parking spot. Twice. Nothing being dragged. Find both front axles loose (AWD Subaru, ’09). I did not tell Riverhill about the axles but request and pay for them to look at the front end. They find the loose axles and indicate they are the likely problem that made the bad sound and then show me deteriorated bushings for both main steering beams/arms. I was told this allowed play in the steering which in turn wore the axles. Riverhill told me the car can continue my trip home but I should have this fixed sooner than later. I had told my mechanic that braking hard had a wobble

Riverhill Automotive was amazing to say the least! I come from out of state and came to them with a flat tire, and they were able to fix it for free within minutes! They were so kind and dedicated! I wouldn’t be able to get home without their help so thank you so much!!! I will definitely come back here again for any car issues and refer people here for their car troubles as well. Ryan and his team are Experienced diagnostic technicians. On time repairs at a competitive price. I have had my car serviced there for five years, couldn't be happier with the excellent service I receive.

Took my car for inspection. It failed (not a surprise) and they charged a "failed inspection fee"... wasn't happy but went about my day. Got the car back to the house and noticed that the rust holes were in an area that I had recently worked around and did not notice any holes (not saying it wasn't rusty, but there definitely were not any holes in these locations previously). Suspected the mechanics of performing the old "screw driver test" (you're not supposed to make existing problems WORSE!) on sections of the body. I left a 1 star review because of this (the fee and the "screw driver test" )... THE OWNER CALLED ME IN THE MIDDLE OF MY WORK DAY TO ASK WHY I LEFT A 1 STAR REVIEW. I filled him in on why and told him I will not be taking my car there anymore. He said he'd review tapes, blah
