Rivermont Assisted Living and Memory Care

My dad stayed at Rivermont until he passed away. I will tell you. If you want dedicated staff who get to know the resident, use this place. They all, and I mean down to every single staff member, get to know the resident. They used first names and greeted my dad almost every time they walked past him. Bill was outgoing, so i don't know if that had anything to do with it, but they were very friendly. They put their hand on people's backs, leaned over, and spoke to them. That speaks volumes. There were plenty of activities. Almost every day there was something to do. A really nice patio area for bird watching, a beautiful dining experience with menu choices (my dad was pickyand he liked the food) , a grand pianoin the entry, and a community television. Bill loved playing bingo for prizes.

I have nothing but good things to say about the facility and staff of Rivermont. They were a God-send to my family, particularly my grandfather. They have taken great care of him during his recovery the past few months. While it isn’t “home”, my grandpa has enjoyed his time there, especially Bingo! Thank you Rivermont for all you have done for my grandpa and all your other residents!

My parents recently moved in to Rivermont. Everyone has been so wonderful. June is an amazing director who knows everyone! Megan and Sarah have been so helpful with all of our questions. Vicki and Donna have handled everything with the medications so professionally! All of the staff have been kind and patient. You can tell they all really love what they do. They are all so caring. We are so pleased with how they have made my parents feel like family! Thank you all for what you do!!

After touring several assisted living and memory care communities, Rivermont stood out as the clear choice for our family. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and genuinely cared for. The team took the time to get to know us and understand what my mom needed—not just physically, but emotionally too. The environment is warm and inviting, and you can tell the staff truly love what they do. It gave us peace of mind knowing my mom would be in a place that feels like home, surrounded by people who treat her like family. I’m so grateful we found Rivermont. Choosing a community for a loved one is never easy, but this place made the decision feel right.

Toured this facility last week and loved it. There is a Welcome flag showing you where to go so you don't miss it. If you are needing a facility for your family member, definitely go and tour this place. Every person I spoke with was so kind and seemed to truly care about me moving my family member in. Anyone I passed in the hallway during the tour stopped and talked with me. While on the tour everyone I passed patients and staff all had smiles on their faces. Megan the salesperson giving the tour was so knowledgeable about everything we spoke about and so kind. You really can tell she loves what she does. Mom is moved in now and settled, she is happy which means IM HAPPY!
