The manager lied about my finances to get me into a car. I’m on disability.i don’t make that much. I didn’t understand at the time what he did to make that happen. The lender told me to go in and get a certificate of return. And return the car. Riverside said that they didn’t do that. The manager got aggressive with me. Like he wanted to fight me. Im a lady. He was so angry and rude and talking over me. Don’t shop here they’re slimy crooks. They’re not to be trusted. No wonder they have bad ratings.
I got burned by 13th used car purchase from Riverside Auto Group in Rome, GA. We bought the car two weeks ago and just discovered the transmission is on its last leg. I called the dealer many times today and left messages. I finally got a call back from the general manager. He suggested I should have bought the third party warranty to protect myself. He went on to say that they are not going to take any responsibility for the faulty transmission. I was very disappointed by this poor business practice. The $2K repair bill as my punishment for trusting them with my business.
I really enjoyed my experience with buying my wife's new car. JL was extremely polite and helpful. He was genuinely concerned that I got exactly what I wanted for my wife at a great price. The next time we are in the market for a vehicle, Riverside will be the first dealer I visit.
Called three times routing through a call service to get to the parts department and then stay on hold and get hung up on after they answer my call or don't answer at all. Can't even get a quote on a battery! Not blaming the employees of the parts department. They are just understaffed!
Riverside auto group sold me a 2015 used vehicle without disclosing a faulty transmission. They neglected to tell me before hand and had me sign an as-is contract. After two weeks of owning a car with only 75 thousand miles, I’ll have to replace the transmission myself for 2 thousand dollars. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
