I brought my Dodge Avenger to Riverside Automotive to have work done, and before starting anything they completed a full inspection with diagnostics and provided me with a clear price upfront. Once they realized the vehicle needed to be junked, there was no charge at all. Peter was extremely helpful and took the time to educate me, even advising that when I purchase another vehicle, I should bring it in for an inspection first. The knowledge he shared was incredibly valuable, and the professionalism was outstanding. Riverside Automotive has definitely gained a loyal client. The experience felt more like a community than a business transaction. I highly recommend them and will absolutely be bringing my next car here.

When my daughters decided to go to school in Milwaukee I told my wife we would need to find a mechanic we can trust because we live over an hour away. She looked online at a UW Milwaukee parent discussion page and many people recommended Riverside. I went ahead and googled them, and their reviews seemed good, so I told my daughters that if they had any issues, to schedule with Riverside. They were kind enough to replace my car's battery and do an oil change with basically no notice, even though they had lots of work that day. They definitely didn't need to do that, but I appreciate how much they went the extra mile for me! I almost never write google reviews, but I was just so impressed by this place that I had to 🙂

Decided to give this place a shot because it was close and had good reviews. Took my car in to get an aggressive power steering leak diagnosed. Before they even saw the car, they recommended I just buy a new car after hearing it was a high mileage vehicle. Informed me it'd be about a $2000+ fix after diagnostics and it wouldn't be worth the repair. I just paid for the diagnostics and left. Towed it on a trailer to my grandpa's shed instead when I finally had time and he found it was simply a bad oring and we replaced it, total cost about 20 cents. I'd be wary about this shop. I recommend this place to everyone who says they have a car issue. As a young woman, I greatly appreciate their patience and honesty! Great pricing and costumer service. I have gone here for oil changes, coolant leaks, alignments, and more; all have been great experiences :)
