Road Bear RV Rentals

First time renting from El Monte/Road Bear, booked a short 1 week trip from Seattle to Los Angeles, staff was great, Class C Small RV had had minor wear and tear (normal for 50,000 miles) but all systems worked perfect, had a great time! a couple of tips -Pickup is after 1pm and takes a couple of hours so go shopping for all your camping gear and food in the morning -Drop off is 10am so basically you lose 2 days of your trip by picking up and dropping off -Be prepared to be shocked filling up, these rv get 6-10 mpg -Pickup additional cleaning supplies, most of the rvs just get a quick interior cleaning. dont forget to buy gloves for dumping tanks Would rent from them again, had a blast traveling 1400 miles, and visiting 5 National Parks, called to arrange pickup 2 days before and everythin

My boyfriend and I rented an RV for a week long trip exploring Washington all the way from Florida. All of the staff was so nice and helpful, especially Dirk! They made the process very quick and efficient even though it was an holiday weekend! Our RV was clean and amazing and everything was explained to us very well. Our trip was awesome thanks to them! Will definitely be back for our next roadtrip.

This place was cool. Cheaper RVs. Super nice staff. Do they nickel and dime you for stocking the RV, yes. However, if you are a scrappy person, you want this, because you can go to a dollar tree and get what you need for cheaper than $55/person. Hot Tip (when planning and ordering ahead): They have a few shelves of shit that people leave behind, so you can stock up on things you would otherwise do without or have to buy. It's like a leave-a-penny, take-a-penny, but for RV shit. You heard it here first, folks. This place is awesome though. Oh, and you don't save that much buying miles if you're staying local. If you're renting for the month and travelling the country.. do it. The staff was really friendly and helpful too. Good orientation for those that need it.

The waiting time for receiving the RV is abysmally long. We've been here for 2 hours and about 15 groups waiting. So far 2 RVs habe left the grounds, so you can calculate how long we (and your workers) are going to be here🙂 Also it says in multiple E-Mails to call 1 to 2 days before to make an appointment for getting the RV, I called and they said it's not necessary, just arrive between 1 and 4 pm. Maybe making appointments might make everything quicker. Edit: So we got our RV at around 7pm, after waiting for 6 hours. On a positive note, the local staff all stayed very friendly, even though they all had to stay a few hours longer.

Great experience. The RV was in perfect shape. The people on pickup and drop off were very friendly and helpful. We picked up in San Fran, went through Napa and Redwoods for a wedding in Bend. Dropped off in Seattle to fly back home to Tucson.
