It is important to read the reviews and that is what I did not do when I went to Rock Automobile. My daughter went to remove a screw from her new tire and they charged her $148.52. According to them, they put another tire on it. Think twice before going there because they overcharge you.

Highly recommend! There were several issues going on with my car and the most severe were fixed and Rock (owner) told us which things could wait. Very nice businessman, genuine.

If I could give this place half a star I would. Went in here not even a month ago when my truck was overheating on the way to work. When I told them I needed antifreeze they came up with any other excuse as to what could be causing the issue without even looking at it. When I told them I myself and mechanic friends work on my vehicle they acted as though just because I was a girl I didn’t know how to fix my own vehicle. Come to find out I was right all along. I had an antifreeze leak. What should be maybe an hour tops to do somehow turned into almost $200 in labor plus the parts charge and a random $30 shop fee that was never talked about. At the end of it all a thermostat change on an 02 Dakota cost me $430 out the door. Ridiculous if you ask me. Couple weeks go by and I have my mechanic

Rock auto has a 30 day return policy. If they ship you a part that is not right for your vehicle, and you have not noticed it in that 30 day window, you are out of luck. Very bad policy...... it used to be 6 months. I buy lots of parts, preplanning for preventative maintenance....I guess no more with Rock Auto. The worse part is, there is no recourse if they send you a part that is listed for your car, but does not fit, is not correct, and you find out more than 30 days out....you are stuck with their incorrect parts.

My cousin hit a pothole on I-95 on our to a baby shower in Greenville, cutting tree sidewall of her tire. The guys at Rock Auto took great care of her. We were able to source a tire from another tire shop, and the guys at Rock Auto installed it, and we were able to get back on the road. There was a lot of conversation, banter and laughter between us and the Rock Auto guys, which made an aggravating situation secondary to the laughs and jokes we shared. They even took care of another couple's tire need that didn't have enough money to pay for the fix. Everything happens for a reason, and my family is grateful for the guys at Rock Auto.
