My husband and I moved to RVM in May, so we are relatively new residents. In spite of regretting leaving our home on the Oregon Coast, we knew and continue to recognize that we would not have found a better retirement community in the state of Oregon, and perhaps farther afield. The size of the community is really nice, allowing for many housing options, as well as activities. We are relatively quiet and are happy keeping to ourselves when we are not taking advantage of the activities and facilities here. My husband is a stroke survivor and thus we use the gym and pool for therapy, enjoy all three of the dining venues, and love to spend time outside enjoying the views, the birds, the wild turkeys etc. The people who live here are very friendly and anxious to include newcomers in their acti

I was sent to Rogue Valley Manor skilled nursing in March 2025. I received the best care here. The nursing staff was very compassionate as were the CNA’s. The facility is very clean. The meals are very good. This facility is very clean the rooms are nice. They have physical therapy and other programs to get you back on your feet. This is the best facility in this area

I moved in here about six months ago and my experiences have been almost wholly positive. The staff seems to like their work and are almost unfailingly cheerful. Some of them have become almost friends (like one carer who always stops to pet my dog if she has time and, if I don't have her with me, asks me to give the dog a pat from her. THe grounds are beautiful with many walking paths. The only downside is that being at the top of a hill, while it provides spectacular views, it requires going uphill at the end of my walks. The other residents are generally welcoming and outgoing. The only problem is that not everyone always wears their name tag (I frequently forget) and without it many fall into the category of "I know this person; I've interacted with him/her, but darned if I can remember

I have lived at Rogue Valley Manor for almost 5 years and am astounded when I see a negative review since I can find so little to complain about! So, taking all reviews with a grain of sand (including mine;), I am happy to report that life at the Manor exceeds anything I imagined before I moved here. There are over 100 groups and activities—all resident driven—to engage my body and mind; multiple opportunities to be on resident committees to advise our administrators on how we would like our community run (and our reasonable suggestions are even listen to!); about 30 fitness classes weekly with personal training and a state of the art exercise gym; and it is just so easy to be social and engaged with ‘the most interesting people in the world’ (like that old commercial says;) I have volunte

I came to Rogue Valley Manor 10 weeks ago and my expectations have been blown away. This place is amazing. Life is filled with a base line of anxiety, Rogue Valley has lowered this base line tremendously. So much is taken care of here with us as the residents in mind. Not having to do all the maintenance, yard work etc. has opened up my days to discover hiking in the Rogue Valley searching for the best vineyard, of which there are many. From the library to the gym, to the dining, all are wonderfully represented by a very attentive staff. We are so glad to be part of this community.
