Romano Toyota Service

My daughter’s car is a 2024 Corolla. She bought snow tires from Goodyear and they said she needs an alignment. We called Romano to see if it was under warranty. They said yes. So they wanted the car in early and would keep it the whole day. Along with a long line of people dropping off their car at the same time. Very inconvenient considering we live on the other side of town. Between the time of the initial call and the actual appointment, the battery died twice after being jumped. It’s under warranty. Turns out the alignment is NOT under warranty and is 50 more dollars than if we had it done at Goodyear. As for the battery they charged us almost $100 to TEST the battery and related parts only to say she is not driving it enough. So it would have had to be tested to find out if it was goo

Set an appointment for 7am on a Monday morning and they were bright eyed and bushy tailed ready to work! Taylor was great and they only did work on my RAV4 Hybrid that I asked for - will be going back here for service in the future!

I think its ridiculous you have to pay 160 dollars still if they didn’t do anything to your car to fix the issue. I’m pretty sure all they did was plug a computer in to see if there are codes and drive it for 5 mins. Seems like they would look a little harder considering it’s a power steering light that’s intermittent. Now they did warn me before hand I would have to pay that fee if they didn’t find anything but I also thought there would be more they could do considering I have a warranty and would prefer to have this issue resolved before that expires. They basically said the light has to be on for them to do anything which seems dangerous since it’s a power steering light and the wheel chokes up at random. Went in for my routine tire rotation. Left my car with them. Always impressed with the overview they send in video form. Quick service, had it ready sooner than expected. Customer service rep was very patient & kind.

This place is an absolute joke. I only went here because the other dealership (who I have never has any issues with) was full. After dropping my car off at 8:45 I called the shop around 1 o'clock to check on the status of my car that only needed an oil change. The service employee stated that my car was not even in the shop to be looked at yet. So why would an establishment have someone drop their car off so early in the morning if they were not going to service their simple oil change until after 1 pm. That is an absolute joke & wish that was mentioned before I dropped my car off here. Will never be returning.
