Ron Marhofer Chevrolet: Service

BUYER BEWARE: Shady Advertising & Rushed Sales floor process to cover "bait and switch" ethics. I contacted Marhofer Chervrolet from a Car Gurus advertisement. It was for an 2024 Equinox EV RS 3RS AWD. I was called immediately from Hayden and let know the price was right for this type of car. I informed him I'd have to drive 4 hours to make the purchase but was excited based on the price. They had me sign paperwork which never disclosed the 3RS or AWD desired trim and as we walk out to inspect the car... they hand me a carfax (not a dealership or GM paperwork) and I guess it has FWD on it. I initial it so we can get out to inspect the car. It is a gorgeous car, and I ask if it's AWD since I can't tell the difference and the sales guy assures me it is. I came here to get my car fixed after it kept refusing to start. I took it to two different mechanics who charged me a lot of money but didn’t fix the issue. I took my car here and worked with Chris, and they fixed one issue they believed was the problem. They went out of their way to ensure it was fixed and when it wasn’t totally fixed, they pulled it back into the shop on short notice, got it seen again without any additional charges, and FINALLY found the issue that’s been plaguing me for over a month. This new fix was the last one and they did everything in their power to make it right for me. Chris went above and beyond making sure I wasn’t going to get a car that would break down again in a day, and did literal magic with the cost of the repair. I was expecting to pay close to 1k and

NEVER COME HERE. Got a car from this dealer about 10 months ago and have nothing but problems. Got talked into buying the extended warranty and the service center sucks so bad!!! Warranty barely covers anything. So hard to get anything fixed. No loner cars ever!! I had no car for days and days. Will NEVER buy a car here again! As a woman I constantly am getting jacked around here! I want to return my car and get something else.

I went in to have my rim and tire fixed ive had my truck now for 5 years I bought it at marhoffer chevy in stow in the process of assessing my tire they were looking for my tire iron to bring the spare down they went through all my personal belongings in my truck tossing around everything in this process when the truck was brought to me I made a comment to hunter my advisor that the went through my stuff my dad's dad's pocket knife which was passed to me after he passed is gone I have told my advisor that its missing my dad's dad was in the navy and that knife was his when he enlisted I didn't know that dealerships allow people to search vehicles that dont belong to them furthermore after the techs couldn't find it than they came out and asked me where it was it was in the bed of my truc

Unbelievable! I had left a review on 12/24/25 about a poor repair job that left me unable to go to work the next day. Marhofer told me to call their customer service line to deal with this. I left a message on 1/2/26 inquiring about such. It is now 1/9/26 and I have not heard back from them. I am officially done giving them my business. UPDATE: It's been two weeks since someone responded to this review, promising someone would get back to me. No one has.
