Unprofessional Reception Experience My girlfriend and I stopped by Ron’s Muffler today to follow up on a catalytic converter issue she had serviced a few weeks ago. She asked me to come in and help explain the situation, as her dad had briefly called the shop about it two weeks prior and she wasn’t sure what details had been relayed or remembered. When we arrived, the woman at the front desk greeted us, but the interaction quickly became frustrating. I began to explain the issue by saying, “Yes, this is my girlfriend’s car and she had her catalytic converter replaced a few weeks ago and…” — but I was immediately cut off. She interjected with, “Well sir, we do a lot of work here. You’re going to have to be more specific,” in a dismissive and unnecessarily sassy tone. I understand the need

Took my truck in for a sensor in the engine problem. Picked it up and had the same problem. Charged me for a different sensor that got changed (that one fixed it) but was charged again. Picked up my truck after Pat drove it and now I have about a 700$ of front end work that needs to be done. Didn’t have any of the noises in the front end when I dropped it off that it has when I picked it up. Don’t recommend if you don’t plan on spending more money than planned on

Pat is very knowledgeable about vehicles, and is very honest and fair about helping when there is a problem with our vehicles. He's a great mechanic who works very hard. We trust his knowledge, and know that he charges a fair price for the work that he does.

Pat is the best mechanic in western KY, period! For anything I can’t do on my own, I take my truck to Ron’s Muffler. Pat is a one man crew, but if you want great work done for a fair price, take it to him!
