brought my 2011 subaru impreza wrx in for transmission repair. ordered a remanufactured transmission. also needed a resurfaced flywheel service and new clutch. took some time and alot of money but got installed and finished a little earlier than i expected. seemed fine when i drove off the lot, clutch is good, transmission feels perfect ( they did not do the trans rebuild themselves). 4 days later, the front suspension gave out while i was driving (on rt 126 about 30 mph). car was sitting on the wheel, fender banged out, etc. collision repair team found the carter pins that hold the nut on the ball joints holding the suspension together were missing both left and right side. these would have been removed to pull the front axels out of the transmission to replace it. luckily only the
