RPM Smog

Bottom line: If you don't have lots of time to waste, go somewhere else that respects your time. I want to like this place because it's very close to me--just a minute or two away, but they have no problem wasting your time. It has happened twice that I've called ahead and they were open and ready for me to smog, and when I get there a few minutes later, there is suddenly a long wait for someone else blocking the entrance from the next door tire business. The first time I waited about 30 minutes sitting around doing nothing, and then a few months later I was smogging another car and the same thing happened . This time I did not wait, I just left. The same time that happened I had called ahead and been told to be there in 20 minutes only for the shop to be closed and have to wait again

Clean, first class shop. Owner is young man who is polite, honest and knowledgeable. You can see his pride of ownership and we wish him all the success he deserves. Great, pleasant experience. Bathroom was even impeccably clean. Thankful we found him and we have already referred 2 customers. Thanks Omar!

I've been a customer at RPM Smog for years, I've brought multiple cars to Omar throughout the years. Always has been helpful and I came in yesterday for a smog check, and he didn't even know who I was. He always charged me a fair set price, so I assumed he was going to be fair on my Honda Odyssey. After he complete the smog, he ripped me off. This price was the highest I've ever paid for a smog check in my life. Please make sure you verify price before he starts the work or else he will TAX you. I will NEVER come here again, and I'm going to refer my friends and family elsewhere from now on. He charges nearly 2X everyone else. BEWARE.

Great customer service. Just unsure with the guys decision to fail me. I took my car to another shop and I was passed with no issues. I do appreciate the guidance the employee gave me though.
